How does it work?
The Enterprise Fire Department works with Knox Rapid Access Solutions to offer a secure way for EFD personnel to gain access to properties affixed with KnoxBoxes, which are high-security key lock boxes.  Business owners and homeowners should notify EFD of the KnoxBox on the property once installed. Business owners and homeowners will place a key to the property inside the KnoxBox. In an emergency, first responders will make every attempt to locate and use that key before making entry into the structure.
